This place is a gem! Purchased a season pass this year… it’s a great deal if you plan on going every weekend. My only complaint is that I wasn’t able to use it during the week over the summer. The park is a great place to bring your kids to escape the heat. (Dog friendly as well! 🐶🐾 *they provide life vest for your furbaby as well.) …
Was a beautiful day in a beautiful place. Very well kept. Relaxing. Great paddle boat, kayak, paddle boards you can rent. They also have life jackets you can rent. Picnic areas, nature hikes... a definite 👍🏼 👌 will visit again. …
Great place to take kids for a swim, not very deep, but enough to enjoy the water safely. The park does have a bathroom with flush toilets, but couldn't find a place to shower and change.
This is the perfect place for beginners either kayaking or SUP. Very clean facility. Has shaded areas with picnic tables. Parking $8. We brought our own kayaks. Had a picnic in a small secluded area away from the main launch area. Not crowded at all. Would highly recommend.
This is a great place if you like to paddle board, kayak, or pedal boat. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I got a season pass, and found out afterwards that we can only come fri-sun. They are pet friendly and even had dog life jackets!
My new favorite place! We came on a hot Sunday, paid $8 to park and brought our own kayak (inflatable). It wasn't crowded, plenty of parking and easy to get on and off the water. There was a lot to explore and our dog loved it! The water isn't the best, but far from the worst. We will definitely be back!
Nice easy place to launch the kayaks.
Note
The entrance fee is $8 per car for the day.
They close at sunset.
I went to check it out, very clean so much space and it had covered barbecue area's, clean restrooms, nice grass, great parking beautiful views. I would go there again.
